Porches and Patios by Stonewood Custom Homes
Your outdoor oasis, your place to relax, your place to enjoy the company of family and friends – Patios and Porches have become not only an extension of our style but of our home and its design as well.
From comfortable seating to firepits to gas stoves and cooking areas that can put a kitchen to shame, outdoor entertaining has become more than just a casual grilling over briquettes on a summer afternoon. Furthermore, the season has dramatically extended beyond the warm summer months. Infrared heaters, phantom shades, fireplaces, amongst other features, have opened usability nearly year-round.

Designed for You
At Stonewood Handcrafted Custom Homes, we take great pride in creating homes that reflect our owners’ personalities. Whether a contrary build with clean lines and contrasting finishes that slowly blend into the nature surrounding the home or a style that is much more timeless and classic, the finished result will be exactly what you envisioned.

And Accent to the Amenity
As seen in these photos, patios and porches often complement other areas of our outdoor entertaining. Pools, a subject in our previous post, are the perfect example. Imagine a relaxing lap or two followed by cozying up to a nice warm fire or relaxing with a good book.

Porches and Patios – the extended season.
As you can see in the images above, these spaces are far more than a deck and a couple of places to sit. Wood-burning and gas fireplaces, the infrared heaters in the ceilings, ceiling fans, televisions, audio, gorgeous furniture, and cooking facilities are all within reach or part of the setting itself.
Phantom screens and shades, and expansive sliding doors, are all incorporated to keep the seasonal life of these spaces as long as possible.
