Wallpaper is a key trend for 2021, The progress in printing techniques and finishes is constantly pushing the boundaries, and the availability of new substrates makes it even more exciting. Today’s wallpaper trends are certainly not a rehash of the prolific styles of decades past. Current styles embrace large patterns, vibrant colors, texture, and our need to be connected to nature.

The latest wallpaper trends are all about panoramic murals, as shown above, 3D texture, contemporary geometrics, and natural-inspired materials such as grasscloth, cork, straw, and wicker. Gone are the days of just printing on paper, you can now embellish corks, grass-cloths, and silks with pretty much any design.

Also, a strong connection to nature as we turn to more green practices and find ourselves doing as much as we can to bring some of the great outdoors, indoors. Whether the pattern is strong, vibrant, or abstract, such as the above, or lighter, more fanciful, and simple, such as the image below, bringing nature into your home creates a sense of calm.
